Daylin Tone was born in Burbank and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in theater. At the University of Kentucky, Daylin directed Our Town by Thornton Wilder, Slipping by Daniel Talbott, Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead by Bert V. Royal
