Self-aware but not snarky, self-referential but never self-loathing; the Poe of the show's title is remarkably loveable...for a morbid poet with borderline necrophiliac erotic fantasies whose best friend is a sometimes chatty, sometimes terse bird of prey. Ernest Kearney is a wizard...of words, of imagery and of the life stories that remind us of our commonality. One leaves "Out My Window" a little wistful (and not a little ashamed of how we ignore our fellow travelers to the grave) but hopeful. It is a beautiful and soulful piece of work that no one with a heart can fail to fall in love with. Intimate and memorable. See it. ... full review
