Kara Costello
Kara taught herself to write screenplays from the script for “Star Wars.” She believes it’s only fitting that she now write one of the new “Star Wars” movies so that everything can come full circle and she has a fun story for Oprah (who, of course, now interviews screenwriters).
While she hasn’t gotten that phone call, yet, she has recently made it to the semi-finals in the Universal Pictures Emerging Writers Fellowship and had an article about her dating life published in the L.A. Times.
Kara also has a BA in Film Production from Emerson College and an MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University.
