Melissa Randel
Melissa Randel is both performer and author of The Women of The Hat…a duet for one. This solo version grew out of the two character iteration, The Hat, which premiered at the NY International Fringe Festival in 2015. While both her BA and MA are in dance, most of her original work is an amalgam of theatre and dance. Melissa spent 4 years on Broadway in Michael Bennett’s A Chorus Line, and has trained extensively with SITI Company in Suzuki, Viewpoints, and Composition. Melissa is Co-Chair of the Theatre Department at Glendale College where she directs, choreographs and devises new work.
