Actor, Fringe addict, and Legend of Zelda fanatic. Makes art and food. Loves tasty words, Hayao Miyazaki movies, and chef Gordon Ramsey. Katelyn has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Central Washington University with an emphasis in devised works and Japanese Noh. She’s been working on the front lines of the explosive immersive theater scene, in show’s like "C(ovell) and “Safehouse ’77”.
Her solo show “Murder Blood Bear Story” premiered in 2015 at the Hollywood Fringe, was nominated for “best solo show”, and has since gone on to tour New Orleans Solo Festival, Maui Fringe, and internationally to the Canadian Nanaimo Fringe; winning “best in festival” and “best performance”. This is her fourth year at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. You saw her last in “Quantum Entanglement” and the year before in Carla Neuss’ “How to be a Virgin (In 12 Morally Ambiguous Steps)”. 2018 Lucid Dramatics brings you “Laertes Loves Hamlet Loves Ophelia”.
