Poonam Basu

Poonam Basu (Drunk Girl/Little Wing Woman)
From performances in Brooklyn Bridge Park to New World Stages, Poonam is no stranger to the NY and LA stage. Currently you can find her chilling on the West Coast, where in between film, TV, and voiceover projects, she always, somehow, finds her way home to a theater. She’s an Equity actor, recently performing at the Kirk Douglas Theatre with Center Theatre Group, opposite Emily Swallow and Amir Arison. She’s also a proud company member of Ensemble Studio Theatre LA. A Golden Performer nominee for her role in Riot Grrrrl Saves the World at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2014, Poonam is delighted to be part of the Fringe again this year, even if it is remotely! Poonam lives her life by the quote, “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?” and, therefore, has found herself wearing a lot of hats… but she loves hats, so it’s cool. In addition to acting, Poonam is a screenwriter and director. She loves potatoes and the NY Giants. www.poonambasu.com Follow her on TikTok and IG @iampoonambasu
