Monica Miklas

Monica is the producer and dramaturg for immersive theatre company Capital W, the outfit behind hit Fringe shows Hamlet-Mobile and Red Flags. She is a Hollywood Fringe veteran, producing comedy ensemble Lost Moon Radio shows for five years and winning Top of the Fringe in 2012 and Best of Comedy in 2011 and ’12.

Monica is also an aerialist, specializing in aerial silks. After almost a decade behind the scenes, she is performing in Fringe for the first time in 2018.

When not producing theatre or hanging upside down, Monica produces events and manages programs for local non-profit arts and culture organizations. She wrote a graduate thesis about fringe festivals: “Producing on the Fringe: The Impacts of Fringe Festival Structure on Participant Experience,” which includes a tool that artists can use to assess potential fringe opportunities and gain better insight into which fringes will be provide a good fit for their work.
