brett epstein

Brett Epstein is originally from Connecticut, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Rhode Island [Providence College; Theatre/Writing] & is now a bi-coastal writer and actor.

Brett loves to write dark comedies in which ordinary people are thrown into extraordinary situations. What happens when characters are tossed outside of their comfort zones and forced to confront their inner demons?

His play I LOVED SAM STONE was the winning play in New York’s SLAM Playwriting Competition. He was also the recipient of Studio 42’s Unproducible Smackdown Fan Slam. Brett’s episodic piece SLAVES OF OUR LIVES is the longest running play in #serials history at the Flea Theater in TriBeCa.

Brett produces and hosts the RULE OF 7×7 series, a continually sold-out engagement at The Tank.

Brett’s writing has been featured via productions or readings at BAM, The Flea, The Tank, TinyRhino, New York Madness, UCB, The Actors Project, Gallery Players, Altruistic Theater, Nylon Fusion Collective, Bristol Valley Theater and Millbrook Playhouse. Recently, eight of his original monologues have been published in MONOLOGUES TO GO.
