Great writing. Great directing. Great acting. While on the surface you know something is lurking, that only serves as the present circumstances of the world these characters live in. A relationship driven story about family. It doesn’t matter which side of the party line you fall, you’re there for the characters.... full review

A Complete Waste of Time

Definitely NOT a complete waste of time! Steve has total control of the audience from the moment he walks on stage. Every joke lands and kills. I was laughing from start to finish. Go see it!... full review

Apathy Killed the Cat

The Fringe Festival is amazing because it allows for these kinds of underground plays to find a stage and come to life. If there's a story somewhere it has a place here. Ryan Lisman always explores taboo topics in surprising ways. He's bold and unapologetic in his writing and that's very refreshing. This story is something I could never have imagined I would ever see on stage and THAT is something I enjoy. Actually being surprised by something. The actors are all fantastic, committed to their rol... full review

I came in not knowing what to expect entirely and I wasn't disappointed. I laughed my ass off. My opinions were reinforced and challenged at the same time. It's important to ask yourself from time to time if what you believe is the complete truth. ... full review

Absolute Zero

A very unique love story told in a sincere way. It makes you question normality when it comes to love and relationships. What is normal? What types of love exist? What makes you feel important? I especially appreciated the brave acting and the risks that were taken in telling this story. There's not enough of that anymore.... full review

Sleeping Around

I've always hated when people tell you a cast is too large. Why do they say that? Sleeping Around proved that no cast is too large. Each character was profound, well constructed and the actors were terrific. Sex is human fact. Great comedy, drama, a great time!... full review

100 (K)nightsof the Urban Geisha: a sex/love worker memoir

Mariko took me on a tantalizing journey throughout her life as a sex/love worker. I was elated, bewildered, afraid, but mostly I was in awe of her amazing story and how it has helped shape her into who she is now. Learn from your past to live in your present and create the future that you want. Truly amazing! (I may have tinkled a little during her rendition of "Dreams" from Fleetwood Mac).... full review
