Therese Diekhans

I am a theater artist residing and performing onstage mostly in Seattle, Washington. I’ve been a professional actor for the better part of 30 years, acting sporadically during the time it took to raise my glorious son, Abraham, now almost 21 (or did he raise me?). After graduating with a BFA in theater arts, I interned at the Alley Theater in Houston, Texas, after which I moved to Spokane, Washington where I was a founding member of the first professional theater company in the Inland Northwest,Interplayers Ensemble.
I am a liberal and proud of it.
I believe theater should contribute to the growth and well being of humanity and strive to participate in such a way as to achieve that goal.
I believe theater is important, that it can open eyes and hearts. My one woman show, THE MOST DANGEROUS WOMAN IN AMERICA, written by Northwest playwright, David Christie, is a piece that does just that. And it’s fun, which is always a good thing. I look forward to coming to Hollywood and being a part of it’s theater scene, to watch and participate in the community.
