Glen Jimenez
Glen S. Jimenez is the Artistic Director/Founder of Kaleidoscope Theatre Ensemble (Est. 2001). He received his BA in Theatre Arts from CSU Dominguez Hills, Carson, CA & his AA in Theatre Arts from Rio Hondo College, Whittier, CA. He has worked both professionally in theatre and the film industry. Some of his past acting roles include Proof, Electricidad, La Malinche, Rancho Hollywood, Roosters, and Twelfth Night. Glen’s Film Credits include Spring Break Lawyer, Glimpse of Hell, Arrest & Trial, Ocularis and Blind Faith. His awards include the 2009 Teatro Dominguez Award, Meritorious Achievement Award in Stage Management for The Good Person of Sichuan, an Ensemble Performance Award for Equus and Twelfth Night from the American College Theatre Festival.
In 2008, Glen deployed with the US Air Force to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar where he produced his play “Decisions: 5 One Act Plays” for the deployed troops. Working 12 hrs shifts, he recruited Air Force personnel to perform in his production. He increased the morale of the deployed personnel from all services, and was lauded by his leadership for a job well done!
