Maribel Chavez, a Chicana actress based in East Los Angeles, discovered her passion for acting at a young age. With a foundation and AA degree in theater arts from East LA College, she has honed her craft both on and off the stage, participating in numerous productions and indie films. Maribel recently showcased her talent as Juliet in Alex Alpharaoh‘s “Romeo & Juliet: Rolling Through East LA” and portrayed Ifigenia in Luis Alfaro’s “Electricidad.” Her versatility shines through in her ability to embody a wide range of characters, from dramatic to comedic, all while striving to be a voice for her audience. Inspired by empowering women in the industry, Maribel aims to make a positive impact in the Chicano community by sharing authentic stories and representing their voices on stage and on screen.
