Fredid Toledo

Fredid Toledo was born and raised in Downtown Los Angeles, where he experienced hardships that led him to navigate gang violence and incarceration. While Fredid became determined to change his narrative, he did not distance himself from the communities that shaped his upbringing. He has dedicated much of his adult life and career to making a positive change in the lives of others by empowering the next generation of youth to end cycles of violence. He has shared this mission through presentations to local high schools and college campuses, and his story has been featured in various documentary films. Today, he finds passion in performing arts and hopes to break the stigma against men showing emotions. Through acting, he finds the courage to express his life experiences and complex identity. First showcased his talent for the theatrical play Romeo & Juliet: Rolling Through East LA an adaptation by Alex Alpharoah.
