Abducted

The story is told as a kaleidoscope of experiences that are thematically connected to the initial story of when Bill is abducted as a kid. The story is frighteningly told by Bill as it should be. Yet we get to also see moments later in his life and ponder how the initial event affected him. Bill is a courageous performer and layered writer. I really enjoyed this show.... full review

BLOOD, A Voodoo Love Story

SEXY. SEXY. SEXY!!! Yet the theme was a very important one about the struggle for intimacy after years of marriage. The writing and the performers go wide and deep to bring about a very satisfying catharsis on the matter.... full review

Medium Size Me

It was a really shocking insight into the realities of casting in Hollywood. And just Hollywood in general. Though, Amy tells the story with plenty of humor to help balance the feeling of disgust at how awful some people can be, or an entire industry!... full review

Not that they need another person to tout how amazing this show is, because they have so many great reviews, BUT THIS SHOW WAS SO AMAZING! Both women did such a phenomenal job portraying these characters. The play sucked me into an entirely differently place and time with just one simple set because of their performances. I don't want to give away too much of the show, just go see it, you will not regret it. ... full review

Fish Out Of Whiskey:A Lawyer Who Just Wants You Off His Case

I wish there were more shows in the Fringe like Wade's. An everyman, not an actor telling true stores. Except Wade is a lawyer and they tend to have just enough of a theatrical flair to entertain people too. Wade has a uniquely humorous point of view and way with words that makes this show so fun to watch. ... full review

BEYOND - Unemployed. Finally.

I found this show obviously funny but also inspiring. I was drawn to the idea of learning about all these different jobs she had, but later realized the show was more of an examination of our childhood dreams and their validity in the world. Heather's dream is to be an actress, which is fortunate for her because she performs well not only by playing herself but the many characters she meets along the way.... full review

An intriguing story told by a veteran of war. It is entertaining and makes you question how you perceive people and incidents we typically do not think about. I highly recommend it.... full review

Abby is a force. I feel like no matter what she does it's going to be entertaining. Her presence on the stage is enthralling. This show was written with a cleverness and lyrical tone that I could only compare to a book by Shel Silverstein.... full review

Orson Welles & Scatman Crothers in 'A Hollywood Ending'

What a hilarious and intriguing show! I had to Google to make sure it wasn't a joke that Orson Welles was in the Transformers movie in 1985. BUT it was true. I imagine David Castro's script is pretty accurate in terms of some of the conversations that took place. He takes advantage of the humor of the situation, but also takes the time to address two men who spent decades in Hollywood and how they felt about the changes or lack thereof. And both actors portrayed these men with striking accuracy. ... full review

The Inside Edge of the World

I saw this show while waiting to see another show and I am so glad that I did. Michael created an entire world and a few characters while it just being mostly him and a stage. It was hilarious and full of suspense too!!... full review
