Joe Spina

After receiving a degree in Theater from Iowa State University, Joe Spina went to the mean streets of Chicago to get some Second-Secondary Education in the fine art of comedy from 2 world famous institutions. While completing the Second City Chicago writing program he enrolled in classes for performance improv at IOChicago where he went on to perform “The Harold” to adoring audiences for over 5 years in IO’s hallowed halls. Fearing yet another frigid Chicago winter he moved to Los Angeles where he immediately joined the StraitJacket Society. Over the next 6 years he performed in or directed over 14 shows and had the distinct honor of becoming the Artist Director of SJS for 2 years. After years of toiling away on the stage he finally broke into the commercial world, appearing in many regional and national commercials. Joe Spina can currently be seen in a small role in the upcoming feature film “Old Days” and as The Flash in 2 wildly popular Team Unicorn music videos “G33k & Gam3r Girls” and “For The Win”
