Lisa Meuser

Lisa Meuser, graduate of Carleton University in Film Studies is currently an independent writer and producer. She wrote and directed her first play called Esther, through Broken English Theatre, when she was 18. At 22 she produced, wrote and directed a play called Dead Man on my Couch, then continued to write and produce her own plays every year since. Lisa not only enjoys sharing her love of theatre, but of film, video, and photography as well. She’s written and produced over a dozen plays and films.

Recent achievements include: hired to write the feature film “A Capella” produced by Jemak Entertainment, her play “Divinity” being accepted into the Ottawa Fringe Festival and Hollywood’s First Fringe Festival, wrote and co-produced “Me, My Mom and a Whistle” directed by Gemini nominee Scott Elridge which just finished shooting this Fall of 2010 and is currently in post-production.
