I would say this is a quintessential fringe show. New participants and old die hards coming together to create something that only they could do. This could only be made by the people on that stage. I’d say rush and snag your tickets while you can because this a must see. Bravo! ... full review

Awesome. Loved it. I wanted more of it! An in-depth look at two different relationships, both with their power struggles and life changing conversations. Loved the script and the crackling dialogue kept the back and forth pacing unrelenting. The direction kept me in the present moment while splitting between the two different times. ... full review

I mean....give me a break. This was the best part of fringe and it sucks. It sucks so much for one reason only. Only 95 get to see something so amazing, so intense, so personal and so spellbinding. Love this y'all. ... full review

Angel's Flight

It was a lukewarm night in the city if broken dreams when I decided to stumble into the 3 of clubs. The lights were set to the period and the actors were all in the mood to groove. I watched the show, eyes fixated on the boozy lead, stumbling through classic troupe after another. The lava lamp of lights and sounds sucked me into a blur of nostalgia and puns that I haven't felt since my 5th grade science class. And I mean that in the best damn way. If I had a drink for every laugh I would have be... full review

Tilt

Pretty damn slick. From its speed endused ping pong dialogue, to its slow meditated moments of insane stillness, tilt f'ing brings it. You better be ready for the assault of conflict and difficult decisions, because jezzzzum crow, do these dudes not stop. Both actors are game. They both are there. They both feel like they are those parts. Fisher, with his zen like madness and crazy hand motions, turns in one hell of a performance. Same can be said for Moroski, also the writer. My only issue with ... full review

Still Got It

I loved every second of this sweet little ditty. Filled with a memento esque structure, I was always jazzed to see how this story was going to twist and turn through its out and out attack on love, sickness and the need for connection. Brendan is the man. Just fact on top of facts with this. He commits like no other, and knows how to land every single joke like a gymnast dismounting for the gold. And in this particular performance I may have witnessed a fringe moment for the ages! (yessssssssss... full review

Four Clowns presents The Halfwits' Last Hurrah

I could write about how funny this show is, or how amazingly committed the actors are, but you all know that. I could write about the great chemistry and the immaculate directing of this show, which could have been way to tongue in cheek to enjoy but instead feels great the whole time. I could tell you how impressed I was by the choreography and the physical comedy bits that are happening throughout the play, from when you walk into the theater the the end. Instead I'll just say this: There is a ... full review

Zip Ties

david reynolds · June 19, 2015 certified reviewer
This show is a beast. Its not just a great tip of the hat to its predecessors, it also just fits in right with them. The dvd of Zip Ties would be right between my blu rays of Reservoir Dogs and True Romance. The script is fast paced, but allows the characters to linger at moments. It also has the wit that you'd hope from a one room play, but also has the pop culture corrector in all of us screaming throughout which breaks up the seriousness. And baby, does this thing get serious. And then funny. ... full review

Very funny, great acting, and even though its four vignettes, it is full of more twists then I thought there could be. I really loved the heart in this play, knowing that all the actors wrote the pieces adds a great personal feel to whole project. Top Notch all the way... full review
