Jeremy Kehoe
Jeremy hears voices – voices that wake him and shake him and make him place them on a quest that ends when their roars muffle from heckles to murmurs at the words “End Play”. Audiences have heard Jeremy’s voices scream and shout and gad about on stages of all shapes and sizes across America in such plays as “Killing Russell Crowe”, “God Help Us”, “Shamamonica”, “Existential Magic Eight Ball”, and “A Few Good PB&Js”.
Before Jeremy started hearing voices, he was a newspaper reporter and editor in Boston and Los Angeles, where he earned awards from the New England Press Association and the NAACP. As a freelance writer he has published articles in newspapers including the Houston Chronicle, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Sacramento News & Review. He also served a 10-year sentence as a public relations executive where he strangled himself with a necktie until the oxygen nearly drained from his brain.
He is a member of the Dramatists Guild and Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights and excited as all hell about this production of “Movin’ On Up”.
