jennifer Linares

Jennifer Linares is a 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival Diversity Scholarship Recipient. She is an LA based interdisciplinary artist (visual artist, painter, dancer, poet, playwright, fashion designer, film maker, actress, director, producer ect). She is the CEO of her art company, Young Rich Artist. Jennifer was born and raised in the city of Inglewood, CA. Her childhood in this city was tough, vibrant and full of inspiration. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University, Northridge. During her studies, she was assigned to adapt a scene from any Shakespearean play. Her strong dislike for Shakespeare unexpectedly blossomed into magic. Jennifer was recently awarded the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival Diversity Scholarship for her play, “El Hood De Macpuerco.” A modern day adaptation of Macbeth set in the Hood’s of America. She is a first time Fringer and is overwhelmed with excitement to share her vision.
