Trey Nichols

Trey Nichols is a playwright, actor, director, teacher and longtime member of Moving Arts, a Los Angeles theatre company dedicated to the development and production of new plays. He runs and moderates The Playwriting Workshop at City Garage Theatre in Santa Monica. Plays include The Meadows, A Lesson in Proper Bow-Fluffing Technique, From Beyond (adapted from the short story by H.P. Lovecraft), The Night Gwen Stacy Died, PCH, One Slit Head, Pina Coladas, Body Found, Impact, and Todd’s Hollywood Tours. His absurdist war play Fathers at a Game received a Best of Fringe Honor in the 2013 Hollywood Fringe. His short horror comedy Deep Dish Apocalypse (Bell-House Productions, dir: David Codeglia) is currently streaming on YouTube. For the last few years, Trey has been active with Moving Arts’ acclaimed immersive theatrical phenomenon “The Car Plays,” performing in The W.o.W. Series at the La Jolla Playhouse, The Off Center Festival at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, and RADAR LA Festival at REDCAT. Trey is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA, The Dramatist Guild, and The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights. He received a B.S. in Theatre from Northwestern University. More blah blah at treynichols.net
