My overall impression

I thorougly enjoyed this show. One-man performance pieces that tell a biographical story are often hard to rescue from self-indulgence (see “Blood Fruit”) but Mark Moore succeeds here. He is an intuitive young actor who shows great promise and his play is about larger ideas as well as himself. My only quibbles are that the play goes on about ten minutes too long. Revisiting the minor character of the MIT professor extends the play beyond its natural ending. Also the late addition of a Model-T car incident breeds confusion with an earlier, more vital car crash. But well done….
