My overall impression
American Pain is a wonderful play! The writing pulls you in from the first lines and takes you on an important and fast paced journey that is extremely relevant to current American culture and condition. Stephanie Burden is amazing. Her command of this one person play is powerful and nuanced, the range of emotions handled with attention to detail and authenticity. Flawless in my opinion. I highly recommend – get yourself there – you will be rewarded!!
