What I liked

Huge kudos to all the actors for successfully navigating this delicate subject matter and a special shout out to both actresses portraying Lily. Julia Linger deftly maneuvers her character’s objectives and obstacles in each flashback scene with both comedic timing and emotional nuance. Linda Nile brings it home with in an emotional and honest performance that brought tears, not only to her eyes, but my own. As someone once said to me, many actors can emote, but a true artist makes their audience feel something, and Ms. Nile did just that.

What I didn't like

More food for thought: The show certainly does ask hard questions. So come prepared to be challenged. I’m stilling mulling over my answer – does everyone deserve redemption? I would like to think so, but the path towards such grace is both a winding and rocky path, which I think the playwright also sought to show.

My overall impression

A thought provoking portrayal of sexual abuse. The playwright in particular did an excellent job showing how the cycle of abuse perpetuates throughout multiple individuals’ lives.
