After graduating from Sheldon High School in the Elk Grove Unified School District, Gaelika wrote “Sex Talk” while receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Texas Southern University in 2005. The play debuted at the Silver House Theatre in Houston, earning her The Observer newspaper’s “30 Under 30” award for her playwriting, directing and acting. “Sex Talk” is a humorous, yet dramatic piece of theatre about three women and their sexual journey to self-discovery.
