What I liked
Passionate people talking about their passions is one of the greatest experiences you can have at a show. “Batter Up” is great for baseball superfans and non-fans alike. EVERYONE will enjoy what Brett has created here. His casual performance, coupled with his computer like knowledge of the game and its stats makes both him, and his show easy to like. This is the most unique thing I’ve seen in the 2019 Fringe Festival.
What I didn't like
Nothing really. Normally baseball stats are a boring affair, but Brett makes us care about stats, baseball and him the entire time.
My overall impression
Do you know anything about baseball? It doesn’t matter because Brett Moore will know EVERYTHING about the game for you. All while being funny and charming at the same time. Batter Up! My Brain on Baseball is more of an experience than a show. Brett casually shows off his love for the game and his amazing memory for its history in a show that I kept saying “wow how does he do that?” Highly recommended.
