the concept! the performance
What I didn't like
I think the male character can be further developed. There were hints at connection, allure, jealousy, evolutionary needs…but he seemed a bit static, always brandishing the knife when he might be more mesmerized by the siren.
Also, of course, I hope the playwright gets a chance to develop it into a longer piece! It would be great to see an even more detailed version of this story!
My overall impression
Magic realism…one of my favorite styles. A befitting mythical fable for audiences brimming with aspiring artists who sacrifice so much to rise to the top…hearing a message from the very top, that we are already all one.
