What I liked
My favorite things were the live music, the ketchup bottle, and remembering the joy of watching Doug!! I loved Doug and Roger, really solid impressions that captured the spirit of the show. The show ran like a well oiled machine. Very clean.
What I didn't like
There were moments where the pacing felt choppy and I was reminded that the script was written for children’s television. In general, it translated well for stage, but it’s definitely challenging switching mediums!
My overall impression
Total 90s nostalgia! I loved the costumes and props. It put me right back in my grandma’s kitchen in the 90s. I LOVED the live music.
