What I liked
The performers knew they were on the audience’s side, even (and especially) when the audience was actively booing them. The threat of a coffee being poured into an audience member’s backpack had everyone on the edge of their seats, but thankfully nobody’s belongings were harmed.
What I didn't like
After the show I learned that the performers often perform a different version of the show each night with different bits, a different cast, and even different endings. Now I’m wondering what the other nights are like!
My overall impression
Five monsters in matching outfits (that are never quite as scary as they might originally appear) do everything they can to get the audience to love them. It was absurd and silly, and you could tell that the performers weren’t sure of what was going to happen next. The show was spontaneous and weird and very, very funny.
