The Ride

What I liked

Lovely comic timing and some fun characters enhance the show, and just when things get dark and serious, a new bit of humor comes to help lighten things up. There’s very skilled character work, with the actor creating a wide range of characters, and the story moves at a good pace. Polished and professional.

What I didn't like

The ending seemed a bit abrupt; I wanted to know more about why it seemed easy at the end for the young man in crisis to go back to practicing his faith.

My overall impression

An engaging performer shares his coming of age story of a young gay Muslim in America.
