What I liked

All of the actors were talented and totally committed to this material. All very real and likable, I appreciated the real casting and the honoring all body types. I especially liked the performance of Gloria Galvan who made you feel every moment of her performance and was incredibly sympathetic. Edward Alvarado managed to play a wide variety of different men with humor and compassion.

What I didn't like

Like a lot of shows at Fringe we could all use some budget to play with and some bigger production stuff, but that being said, this show very much succeeds.

My overall impression

Real, intense, comic, heart-wrenching and brave as hell. Marnie Olson cracks open her psyche and lets us inside. Relatable and courageous, this is one writer I want to know. Olson and director, Jennifer Chun are amazing humans and this work shows us that they are woke and paying attention—and not afraid to go for it creatively.
