What I liked
I loved the modern framing of the story and Ashley Ford is a wonderful actress.
What I didn't like
I loved the framing in the beginning, and would have liked to see the show bookended with this same device. I felt a little sad we, as an audience, didn’t get to revisit with our modern-day actress again.
My overall impression
Engaging performance and fascinating history lesson.
