I saw the preview and loved it. The two actors are really connected, and the writing is brilliant. I'll probably catch it one more time to see where the actors take it from here. I definitely recommend this show!

David Caprita's (Jake) 30 minute, one-act is a totally absorbing and compelling trip to a Malibu beach where Jake wrestles with his guardian angel (Josh Wingate) who is not about to let him complete his task. Neither is willing to give a inch. David's beautifully crafted dialogue is well staged and directed by Matt Duggan. Quintessentially all that represents Fringe. A must see! ...

In the midst of this short and effective comedy is a great bit of morality and almost a pleading to look at this wonderful gift called life. Two fantastic actors who truly gel with each other and present an eye-opening look at what really matter and more important, why. Loved it!...

This is truly touching and contains profound messages. In the most desperate times of life, the appearance of someone can not only save a person's life but can also bring about a new beginning and a significant improvement in their life. It reminds me of how much the angel numbers helped me by giving me hope during my hardest times....

This really touched my heart and soul. Jake and the Angel was phenomenal and amazing! The creativity and depth in each character overflowed throughout each scene. The intensity equalized each comedic line in a satirical yet tasteful way. This edgy piece was exactly what the world needs right now! Kudos to the absolutely stunning and brilliant cast, for enveloping my heart and soul with each moment. I was on the end of my seat after every line, and captured by the magnificent performers. ...

JAKE & THE ANGEL is a wonderful exploration of faith, life, guilt, and forgiveness. Caprita's script presents two well-developed characters (portrayed effortlessly by Caprita and Wingate) and pins these opposing forces on a beach and what happens is a hilarious and endearing 30 minutes. Fantastic direction by Matt Duggan. Beautifully done to all involved! ...
