Jake has had it. His production company is dead. His marriage is dead. His dream is dead. Now he wants to join them. He’s about to do the deed when a stranger arrives. But it turns out this character is not a stranger but someone Jake has known for ages.
He says he’s Jake’s guardian angel and he knows everything about Jake. He’s there to save Jake’s life, but not because he’s concerned about him. He wants to get back to the “real world” and the only way to do that is save this loser.
Their conversation and conflict ends up as a battle of wits and brawn and finally, enlightenment, resolution and redemption.
