Just about everything in this show. The dancing is beautiful and tells a story. The music is smart and funny, and more touching than you would think something this cheeseball has a right to be. Particularly outstanding in this regard was ‘Nothing More Than You,’ the love song of a teenage boy to his cell phone, beautifully sung by Kim Dalton as Davey Delacroix.
What I didn't like
As awesome as it is to see this preformed in the intimacy of Three Clubs this show really calls out for a bit of a larger venue.
My overall impression
Hilarious, sexy, and at times downright touching, Dr. Nympho is brilliantly written and beautifully choreographed. The humor and charm of the show is borne out by the bottomless depth of talent of the Cherry Poppins gang. Its stunning to see a production this complete and original preformed at Fringe, and I look forward to seeing where this show ends up next.
