What I liked

I’ve seen my fair share of one-person shows and this one instantly became a favorite. Naomi is one of those entitled white girls whose biggest trauma resulted from her daddy saying “no” to her going to a party. So, like any entitled white girl would do, she moved to L.A. to become an actress and confront her “demons”! Every step of the way, her entitlement translates into pure obliviousness and the zingers keep on coming. The show is not only a spoof of the genre and its tropes (from the slapdash scenography to finding yourself thanks to a Cancun bartender’s words of wisdom), but also a (subtle) commentary on white privilege and the vapidness of celebrity culture. Oh, and I was in stitches all throughout!
Do yourself a favor and see this show.

What I didn't like

Longer show! I wanted to spend more time with Naomi!

My overall impression

A send-off to the genre!
