HOLLYWOOD, CA – Jordan Rosin and Yokko are internationally recognized physical theatre artists and teachers specializing in the Japanese post-war, avant-garde movement form known as Butoh. Having worked together for five years in NYC from 2011 to 2016 through their companies, The Ume Group (www.theumegroup.org) and Ren Gyo Soh (www.rengyosoh.com), they are re-uniting this summer in conjunction with the Hollywood Fringe Festival debut of Yokko’s award-winning solo show BUTOH MEDEA, and as part of Jordan’s first-ever multi-city workshop tour of the U.S.A., which includes stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Baltimore, Richmond, and Seattle.
