An extremely funny, very thoughtful, and cleverly written show that shows us that people exist far beyond the boxes society puts them in. Not only is it a delightfully revealing one man show about Bill, it’s about the problems this country still deals with when it comes to race and identity. This was one of the best shows I’ve seen this Fringe. ... full review

'The Day I Became Black A Biracial Comedy in America' was Amazing! Bill Posley does an incredible job walking the audience through his life, and what it means to be biracial. The Day I Became Black is hilarious and poignant. It is filled with laughter in one moment, cringe-worthy the next, funny again, and finally filled with sad revelations and tears. A powerful message delivered with a wonderful sense of humor, Bill Poser is a masterful raconteur and his show THE DAY I BECAME BLACK is a masterclass in comedic storytelling. Amidst today realities of social and political imperfections(especially as it pertains to race), this shows bring a much needed awareness with sharp writing and humor... George Carlin said, “No one is ever more herself or himself than when they really laugh. Their defenses are down…They are completely open, completely themselves when that message hits the brain and the laugh begins". Bill personifies this message. Certainly one of the best shows at Fringe 2018... full review

I have seen some remarkable actors and performances at the many Fringes I have attended over the years. Talent that deserves to reach the highest heights possible – but I have seen only a handful of true stars. Bill Polsey is now one of them. A Platinum Medal... full review

Bill Posley's one man show was impressive, heartfelt and hilarious. He's a truly gifted storyteller and comedian. The house was packed. He masterfully engaged the audience (and make us feel all the feels!) in what felt like it could've been a much longer show. Meaning = I wanted more! I was curious about him and his life and his perspective. Posley is great. See this show! ... full review

Bill Posley just brought the house down. Fierce, funny, ferocious and funky, this journey of identity had me from the first assured moment and danced with me til the end. The writing and performance are honest, self-effacing and always welcoming. Most importantly, Bill makes the most important solo show choice: he takes us through his journey in real time so we get to experience his challenges and triumphs. And this is one. I was tempted to just write #mikedrop. This is a POWERHOUSE of a show. Thank you. ... full review
