“LIVES OF OUR TIMES” BRINGS DANCE AND (FAR) BEYOND TO THE HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL
April 20, 2011
WHAT: The world premiere of “Lives of Our Times”
at the Hollywood Fringe Festival: two one-act
Dance/Theater works united by dissolved boundaries
of time and space. Act I, “Rockaway Beach,
or so I Recall," is a highly-personal, maybe-true
tale of 1960s summers, and more, while Act II,
“automatRon” is a dance experiment set in a
post-apocalyptic world. Dance, spoken word, live music
and walking paintings juxtapose the two views on life
before and after to tell the tale.
WHO: Choreographers/Directors Caitlyn Carradine (Lace Theater)and
Judy Pisarro-Grant (La Danserie).
WHERE: The Actors Company Theater, Mainstage
