What I liked
Stand up comedy is one of the single most fearful professions a person can pursue, and Lanessa Long has managed to make it look like child’s play with complete and total control over every aspect of her performance. I cried from laughter and feel as though I could watch it for a week straight and never get bored. What makes what she does so convincing and impressive is how she’s orchestrated and written her content for longevity, it will stand the test of time. She’s undeniably not a one hit wonder and will be entertaining audiences on a grand scale for as long as she decides she wants to.

My overall impression
Lanessa’s quintessential example of how to successfully rope an audience into a performance is inspiring at worst. She’s relatable, brilliantly comedic, and has an innate musical ability as a singer-songwriter-pianist. I cried from laughter and feel as though I could watch it for a week straight and never get bored.
