Playful creative and absorbing. A collection of stories using puppets and live action and video. The performer creates puppets out of paper and plastic bags while you watch. At times funny, at times meditative, at times political.... full review

'Still Life of an Orange' was a truly unique and refreshing experience. It was far beyond most of the other Fringe shows as each story or fable took an abstract approach. Having a puppeteer treat very mundane objects like an orange as a character as well as creating a narrative through this concept, was inventive and fun. Despite the bizarre nature of the performance, the play never felt forced or unengaging. In fact, I'd say the contrary because it was hard to tell what would happen next with a story like this!... full review

Throughout the show, we are immersed in a very Artistic Tableau. From an Orange story teller, to a beautiful silhouette style puppet show, paintings, videos, images... And then we are brought back to the life of the puppeteer building and creating those puppets who really seem to take life on stage! Bravo Jean! ... full review
