What I liked

Who knew monsters had so many feelings? I really enjoyed this little cabaret hosted by the greatest monster of all, Count Dracula. The pace is fast, the jokes are smart, and the singing is excellent (especially Crystal Keith as a #metoo Mina Harker). Highlights were Bryan Krasner as Frankenstein’s monster doing a late-night talk-show interview with all the standard movie-star tropes (Acting hard… book, not book, always worry!), and Keith’s Mina-as-Leia confronting Jabba the Hut as played by modern-day monster Harvey Weinstein (Brian Wallis).

What I didn't like

I had a lot of trouble understanding the words in Quasimodo’s stand-up routine in the microphone. The actor spoke really fast and had a really shouty delivery.

My overall impression

Really fun, unexpected, great characters, with audience sing along!
