What I liked
The fun and meaningful musical pieces, the scene-setting movement around the stage… especially the spinning of the piano around.
The excitement of the story being told, but also the intimacy through which it’s conveyed to specific audience members at certain times.
The props and lighting and photos and background music brought the tale to life.

My overall impression
This show was so incredibly impactful. The journey Jon takes us on seems both surreal and hauntingly familiar. Humor and intensity are perfectly balanced in this true story that will strike an emotional chord with so many people. Time flies by and when the roller coaster of this story comes to an end, one is left feeling emotionally stirred, empathic and inspired.
Highly recommended!
