Casting, characters, script, and relatable scenarios.
What I didn't like
Lighting. At times punchlines and cues lost impact because of delayed reaction from the lighting technician. Of course this is more of a criticism towards the theater, and not the production or the Director.
My overall impression
Great cast, great chemistry, and hilariously relatable characters. Nicole Dillman hit the nail in the head with her first production. As writer, director, and producer for First Dates, Nicole’s theater debut was a spectacular one. The play will have you laughing from start to finish, as you are hit by a tragically accurate and funny representation of the dating scene in Los Angeles. Looking forward to seeing what comes next for this young talent.
