The show moves quickly and his characters get deeper and reveal more with each scene. Victor pulls off some incredibly difficult technical work, acting scenes with himself, with ease; making it look so simple you forget that he’s accomplishing something superhuman. But the technical stuff isn’t there for him to show off, it arrives at the perfect time in the piece and deepens the story and theme.
He finds little bits of humanity in the most simple of behaviors. It’s tremendous.

What I didn't like
There’s a loud bar on the other side of the doors.
My overall impression
The Word is a touching, hilarious and deeply moving experience. Victor Isaac perfectly straddles parody and pathos, revealing a beautiful core inside of his excellent script.
