What I liked

The writing is really on point. I loved how the playwright gave attention to each member of the Prozorov family; Chekhov would be proud that no one is overlooked and that each member’s internal fears are realized. The cast is exceptionally strong, in their individual performances and their unity as an ensemble. I also loved the humor in the piece and how it lends itself to pop culture, social media pressures and LA. The LAness of the play is what makes it so hilarious, why this Fringe audience could not stop laughing. It’s too real.

On another note, everyone’s credentials were very impressive across the board. It’s really inspiring that all these talented people joined together to create this exceptional piece of work, for Fringe. Not only are they super talented, they care about developing new work, in the theatre. And that is everything to me.

What I didn't like

Someone throw some more money at this show so they can elevate the production quality to what it truly deserves! But they are doing a fantastic job of making a lot out of a little for this Fringe experience. You definitely get caught up in the Prozorov’s world!

My overall impression

What a FAB fusion of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” meets “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” I was thoroughly impressed by the clever, timely parallels as well as supreme performances from the entire cast. This is a very strong production, especially for Fringe. I really hope it continues on after this run because it deserves a bigger audience. But do catch it while you can!
