What I liked

Whenever the time skips forward several years, we can see that the dynamics between the characters have changed in the meantime. Great care was taken to contemplate what happened offstage, and we never get lost. The play has enough action that it could have been written as an endless 3-hour play, but instead, it wisely focuses on the most important, impactful moments.

What I didn't like

Nahhh, I’m not putting anything in this box.

My overall impression

Going in, I had no working knowledge either of the original play, or of Kardashian family drama. And I loved it. It is easy to become invested in the struggle of these three sisters, who bring out the worst in each other.

The writing is fun, insightful, and unafraid of examining darker aspects of human nature. The performances appear effortless, which is a compliment both to the actors and the show’s capable director. This is the best show I’ve seen at Fringe.

Cheers to everyone involved!
