What I liked

When it ended (mercifully), since it felt like freaking purgatory. I also appreciated several of the actors really committing and “going for it”, despite how incoherent, ridiculous and repetitive the script was. The show couldn’t be saved, but the actors tried to keep the drunk audience engaged. That being said, I support everyone in their artistic endeavors and perhaps this steaming pile of diarrhea will help the writer to improve going forward… somehow.

What I didn't like

The script.

My overall impression

This was, without question, the worst show I’ve seen in almost a decade. It was long and managed to be both convoluted in structure and Painfully obvious in it’s preaching intent. The metaphors and allegories were central to the play instead of a plot (of which there was slim to none). Most of the audience was getting absurdly drunk before the performance and even that didn’t prevent several from walking out halfway though (I was so envious of them). While the producers and director did their best to help the actors with this steaming pile of garbage, from start to finish this play was an abysmal failure. I’m glad they have patrons that write well of them, but from someone unaffiliated with the show, DO NOT SEE THIS. It’s over 90 minutes of your life you will NEVER get back. In conclusion I think this quote best sums up this piece of theater: “Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.” I wasn’t even going to write a review because, “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”, but I mean, seriously….
