What I liked
The movement!!!!! The blocking was awesome too! Great use of space and I loved the simple set as well. Each actor is versatile and unique in their own way. It made watching each character’s monologue so intriguing and completely different than the one before them.
What I didn't like
I felt like the internal pacing was a little off. At moments, things felt draggy but the acting was really well done so you were captivated no matter what. Personally, I felt that there were one too many blackouts and that transitions from scene to scene should be just as sharp as the choreography.
My overall impression
I thought this show was well done and had such an important message. The use of movement was integrated beautifully. Overall the choreography was well thought out, sharp, yet graceful. I think the element of dance and movement created more layers for the audience to dig into, which is so cool then just hearing straight up dialogue.
