What I liked

The acting is first rate, especially Koni McCurdy who plays the mom. She is just the right combination of kooky, distracted and well meaning. Every time she enters in her various African-bohemian-chic attire, the stage lights up! All the other actresses are fabulous, as well! The story is interesting and relevant.

What I didn't like

The location of the venue worked for and against the show. Parking is easy and the theatre space is very nice, but the show is a little off the beaten path, so it is harder to find. It is worth finding, though! Also, the shorter length required by the schedule makes the ending seem a little abrupt.

My overall impression

This was an interesting story, well written and told with wonderful actors! We thoroughly enjoyed the play. The topic of the play is timely and relevant to the fractious world we live in.
