What I liked

One of the campers discovers a trunk in which are the weapons of protection they will use to fight the Infector. Thees include a shield, sword, lute, magic walking stick, each containing magical powers. With Strongheart and Filimore leading their way, the four learn to work together and save themselves and their friendship along the way.

What I didn't like

The production values were in line for Fringe, but need to be improved for a longer run elsewhere.

My overall impression

I have never played Dungeons and Dragons or seen/read any of the Harry Potter books or movies. Perhaps I would have appreciated the humor of this play a bit more if I had since many audience members were laughing hysterically at the references I did not understand. This fantasy play about four friends forced into the woods to search and destroy a monster called the Infector in order to protect the world from the disease it brings, was fun to watch, with an animated backdrop that rolled into position to different woodsy locations.
